Morgan MacIntyre

Nineteen year old singer songwriter Morgan MacIntyre from Belfast who has been called "extraordinary" by Snow Patrol's Gary Lightbody is back in the recording studio, working on some new songs. Fans of her live gigs will be looking forward to intriguing versions of the soulful "Mexico" and the quirky "butcher" song.

Morgan who has been writing songs since she was 15 has already had some radio play, most notably with her song 'Pebbles' which was played on BBC Radio 1 and Radio Ulster and picked out by Lightbody as his "recommendation to the nation."
One of her songs, "Let Me Live" has also recently been selected for inclusion in a UK wide tour of new musical "The Fifth Beatle".


The Godfather of Punk, Terri Hooley believes she is one to watch as she sang at the launch of his book "Hooleygan"

Her songs have been played on Rory McConnell's after midnight show which also goes out on Radio One . The song was chosen as Gary Lightbody's "recommendation to the nation"

Gary went on to say Morgan " could be really big if she wanted to be " and said her songs had a " darkness and depth " which would like to see her develop.
