Holliday St Quartet
 


 

Hannah Fathers a singer/songwriter from Birmingham who regularly performs in the Jazz, Blues and Country influenced band the Holliday St Quartet.
Hannah is a recent graduate from Birmingham Conservatoire where she studied Classical Guitar under Mark Ashford and Mark Eden. She also performed in masterclasses by leading guitarists and teachers Chris Stell, Allan Neave, Xuefei Yang, Gary Ryan, and John Williams.

It was whilst studying at Birmingham Conservatoire that Hannah met the members of her band and performed in a wide range of ensembles with a rich range of musical genres; including a country and western band, a bollywood function band and Joe Broughton's Conservatoire Folk Ensemble. This is where Hannah gained a passion for all things 'Folk', so began a monthly folk club in the centre of Birmingham, the 'Urban Fox Folk Club' which hosted award-winning folk bands and artists including the Urban Folk Quartet, Jim Moray and Jackie Oats, Mawkin:Causley, The Old Dance School, Jack McNeill & Charlie Heys and Chris Wood.'
