Aaron Keylock
 


 

Aaron Keylock is a fourteen year old blues guitarist/singer/songwriter who at the age of eleven began to play in his local city of Oxford. He quickly progressed to playing the major blues bars in London, guesting with such people as Sandi Thom, The Quireboys, Never the Bride, Nine Below Zero, Hamilton Loomis, Sherman Robertson and Raphael Ravenscroft.

Aaron then assembled his own band and by the age of twelve he headlined at Charlotte Street Blues on a Friday night. By the the age of thirteen, he had a string of major events to his credit including High Voltage Festival, Alex James presents Harvest, California Dreamin’ Custom Show, Silverstone Classic Racing and shows for the Ace Cafe and Harley Davidson.

Aaron played his first show in Europe at the prestigious Blues in Chedigny last August where he went down so well he was asked to guest with the headline acts on both Friday and Saturday nights. Aaron continues to play the top blues bars in Central London every week (Blues Kitchen, Camden every Sunday and Monday and The AlleyCat Bar, Denmark Street every Wednesday) and is also now opening up shows for people on the next level, such as Southside Johnny and the Asbury Jukes, Robin Trower, Alabama 3, C W Stoneking and Buddy Whittington (John Mayall’s Blues Breakers) amongst many others.

He recently played two days at the International Custom Show at Alexandra Palace and this is followed up by many more high profile events over the course of this year.
